alright, i know i have some readers who are lolitas.
I have finally decided i want to start wearing lolita. not a lot, but i would like to just start off with a few dresses. probably off brand since i can't afford anything else at the moment (no job, not old enough)
now i was looking on CLOBBA online and i saw lots of dream of lolita replicas i liked, i know a lot of people have negative opinions on replicas but i don't see anything wrong with them. especially if you love the print and just can't afford it. And you can get custom sizes on clobba, i still need to get my measurements but i am 5'2 and 118 pounds, i guess you could say im a little bit chubby. not fat, just a bit bigger and definitely not skinny. it makes me a little worried ill order the wrong sizes and wont fit in them, or i wont look good in lolita..
and another very big problem is that i have never ordered from a japanese/website in a different language, which is another reason why ive decided to purchase from clobba. im planning on getting a couple lucky packs in the future when i get a proper job, but i need a tutorial on how to order from websites like angelic pretty and liz lisa (i know its not lolita, but i still love their clothes) i also wanted to order milklim stuff and 6% dokidoki stuff, but the websites are too confusing :c
anyway, the lolita replicas i like are the milky planet OP in lavender, and the sugary carnival op in black.
as of now, i don't own any lolita items. i still need a petticoat, shoes, socks, accessories, etc. the dresses aren't the only thing i need to focus on.
how did you get started with lolita? any tips?
If you can't read in Japanese or need clothes in your size, go straight to Bodyline.co.jp. They lately have really cute stuff, it's very affordable, and the currency, measurements, and weight, can be changed to your suiting. And when you are viewing a piece of clothing on there, the measurements are shown under each size, so you know what you'll be getting. Then again, there are also yahoo!auctions, An*tai*na (for shoes), fan+friend (though their sizes are questionable, as I've seen some negative reviews on the sizes online), and others.
ReplyDeleteBut if you want to order from Japanese sites, feel free to learn Japanese x'D
Thank you! ;~; I did look through bodyline but i just liked the stuff on dream of lolita better. But bodyline does have lots of cute things!! i did look through yahoo auctions but its confusing for me OTL
